John Muir Way Scotland 2022

  John Muir born April 21, 1838 - December 24, 1914 “Also known as “John of the Mountains “ and “Father of the National Parks” was an influential Scottish-American naturalist…and early advocate for the preservation of wilderness in the United States.”

  Scotland - Here I Come Again!  June 2022. The intended plan is to hike the John Muir Way which is in southern Scotland and more of a low level route, rather than the spectacular Highlands which are just what the name says - HIGH Lands.   This round trip starts on the east coast in Dunbar the birthplace of John Muir and travels west to Helensburgh, take a 'rest' day, then turn around and return to Dunbar.  After that will be 5 days of being a tourist in Edinburgh.
